What our athletes say (in their own words)
There's no better way to explain what we do than to let them speak. These are messages from athletes who trusted Dream It.
At Dream It, we don't like selling ourselves. We'd rather let the athletes who went through the process do the talking. Each of these players came to us at a different point in their life: some just starting to dream about a scholarship, others in crisis looking for a second chance, others skeptical of agencies after bad experiences. What they all have in common is that today they're at universities in the United States, on scholarship, competing, and growing. And this is what they told us.
Sergio Salas — Dalton State, NCAA Division 2
Sergio called us from Texas at one of the hardest moments of his career. He was alone, with no playing time, no fair scholarship, and no plan. We proposed a transfer to a junior college as a springboard, and from there he jumped to Dalton State, where he became a national champion. His story is probably the one that defines us the most as an agency.
“What gave me confidence was the people who work at Dream It. I got a call from Phil wanting to help me at my worst moment in Texas, offering me another chance in college with a transfer to a junior college, where everything worked out. A good agency doesn't just change players, it changes lives.”
— Sergio Salas
When we read this for the first time, it hit us hard. Because that's exactly what we try to do: be there when nobody else is. Sergio wasn't an easy client or a pretty case for Instagram. He was a kid who genuinely needed help. And that's what drives us.
Felipe Benavides — Bushnell University
Felipe came to us with the natural distrust of someone who has seen too many agencies promise things they don't deliver. We don't blame him. The athletic scholarship market in Chile has everything, and not all of it is serious. But from the first conversation, we felt there was a connection.
“I trusted Dream It because I felt the closeness from the beginning — it wasn't just another agency. You could tell they truly care about my process, not just as a player, but as a student-athlete and a person. I felt they talked to me as an equal, not just another client, and that made all the difference.”
— Felipe Benavides
What we love most about what Felipe says is that part about being treated "as an equal." We went through the same process. We know what it feels like to be on the other side. And you can't fake that.
Joaquín Lesperguer — Wiley University
Joaquín did something we think is very smart: before deciding, he talked to other players who were already working with us. He asked around, compared, investigated. And after all that, he chose us. That's the kind of trust we value most — the kind earned through results, not promises.
“I decided to work with Dream It because from day one, in our first meeting, they gave me a level of trust that is very hard to find with other agencies in Chile. I trusted them because I spoke with some young Chilean soccer players who were in the same situation, and I believe it was the best option to start my process.”
— Joaquín Lesperguer
We love that Joaquín mentions talking to other players. That means our work speaks for itself. We don't need to convince anyone with speeches — the athletes who already went through this are our best calling card.
Rodrigo Silva — North Greenville University
Rodrigo highlights something that's fundamental to us: closeness. We're not an agency that sends you a PDF and disappears. We're on WhatsApp at 11 PM if something needs solving. We're on the video call with the coach. We're at the airport if necessary.
“I started working with Dream It because of their closeness with the players — it was more than just an agency, they're always there to help or advise you. What made me trust them was the results they've had and, like I said, how warm and close they are with the players.”
— Rodrigo Silva
"More than just an agency" — that's what we want to be. An agency that truly accompanies you, not one that sells you a service and forgets about you. Rodrigo understood that from the start, and today he's competing at North Greenville University.
Nikolas Suárez — Point Park University, NCAA D2
Niko has known Phil since before Dream It even existed. He didn't find us through an ad or a form. He came because there was a real relationship, built over years of closeness in soccer. When he decided to go to the U.S., he didn't have to think twice about who to trust.
“I've known Phil since before Dream It even existed. From day 1 he believed in me 100%. I felt a connection unlike any other agent. That closeness in both soccer and as a person. Same with Diego — he was key in guiding me through the process. Very happy with Dream It, not just for how professional they are, but as people.”
— Nikolas Suárez
Niko mentions Diego, and that fills us with pride. Because Dream It isn't just Phil. It's a team of people who live this with the same intensity. That Diego was key in Niko's process speaks to who we are as a group.
Matías Labbé — Goshen College
Matías came to Dream It after going through other agencies. That says it all. When someone has already had a bad experience and decides to trust again, the bar is higher. You can't let them down.
“I decided to work with Dream It after going through other agencies that didn't understand my needs, not as a player or as a person. I trusted Phil and Diego blindly to handle my transfer and find the right place. The difference shows: they don't just care about closing the transfer, they get to know you as a person and understand what you're looking for as a student-athlete.”
— Matías Labbé
"After going through other agencies" — that line carries weight. Matías didn't choose us by default. He chose us because he noticed the difference. And that difference is that we care about the player, not just the deal.
Dominga Araya — Northwestern College
Dominga is special because she talks about something most agencies don't do: the follow-up after. It's easy to support someone until they sign. The hard part is being there when they're already in the U.S., checking in on how they're doing, how the season is going, how they feel.
“I decided to work with Dream It for many reasons, but the main one was the constant support from the entire team. They've always been present during the different processes, but also throughout the year, checking in on how the season is going and keeping a close connection. That has been really important to me.”
— Dominga Araya
Dominga touches on the point that defines us most: we don't disappear after the signing. We stay. Because the process doesn't end when you arrive in the United States — that's where it really begins.
Matías Bittner — Williams Baptist University
Matías went through what many families go through: searching for agencies and always running into costs that made everything fall apart. Until someone at his club gave him Phil's number. From that first conversation, everything changed.
“I started looking for different agencies but always ran into the same problem: high costs just to start the process. When I met Phil I was immediately happy and confident. I felt it wasn't just about helping me get to the U.S., but about knowing my story, understanding my struggles, and working together toward the same goal. Then the Showcase came and everything went as we hoped. It was the beginning of an experience that ended up helping me achieve one of my biggest goals.”
— Matías Bittner
Matías' story has something special: he found Dream It through a recommendation from someone at his own club. Not through an ad, not through Instagram. Word of mouth. And after the Showcase, he signed with Williams Baptist. That's how it works when it's done right.
Why we share this
We don't publish these testimonials to show off. We publish them because we know there are hundreds of families out there in the same situation Sergio, Felipe, Joaquín, Rodrigo, Niko, Matías, and Dominga were in: with talent, with drive, but not knowing who to trust.
If you're reading this and you identify with any of these stories, reach out. We're not going to sell you anything in the first conversation. We're just going to listen, understand your situation, and honestly tell you whether we can help or not. That's how every one of these stories started.
